This picture of a postcard was passed to us by a neighbour whose family had lived in Tattenham Way since the houses were built in the mid 1930's. It's taken from outside of about number 30 looking towards the current A217. Piquets Way is on the left where the car is.

I worked for a Mr and Mrs Rolland Hill on a work program organized by Banstead Hall, for pocket money. The couple were very nice, I think they lived at number 44 Tattenham Way.
