Florence Dalziel Benson sister to Helen Colman 
This is a picture of Florence Gaulter Dalziel Benson. (It might be Gaultier rather than Gaulter.) She was the sister of Helen Dalziel Colman of Nork Park. She was married to Alfred Benson who owned a jewelry business in London. Florence was also the sister of Murray Dalziel (1862-1942), my great grandfather, and of Davison Dalziel (Baron Dalziel of Wooler; 1852-1928), a businessman and financier.
The caption was written by Murray Dalziel. Murray left this and other pictures when he died in Jackson, Michigan, in 1942. I have posted a number of these pictures to this website.

I do not know when the picture was taken. She was born in December 1859, and died in May 1929. Her brother Murray visited his family in England in 1907 and 1922. I think that Florence gave this picture to him on one of those visits, probably in 1907. So a possible date is in the early 1900s.
