Looking at those cars I would have thought it had to be late thirties at the earliest.

I believe that my mother may have been brought up here? My mother was Jonquil and was the daughter of Cecil Denham-Davis (and his wife, my grandmother, who it seems was universally known as "Buddy"). I have some photos of the house between 1937 when they bought it and the mid-1950s when I believe it was subject to a compulsory purchase order (following which the site was re-developed). If you would like to see the photos, please do let me know.

Note from LNW: Quentin, I have mailed you privately as the family you describe appear to have lived at Ferriers Grange in Burgh Heath which is a different Grange to the one above sited at the Southern end of Sutton Lane Banstead.
