Banstead Junior school

This is our class at the Junior School from 1968 (I think). I can put names to some of the faces... Pretty much everyone as I recall lived in Bantead village. Note this is a professional school photo, and I do not own the copyright... Although I really don't think anyone is going to complain after 42 years!

Comments:
I love the fact that the kids in the front row (but only the front row) were told to pose with recorders - and all, judging by the position of their fingers, apparently playing the same note. Imagine the noise... no wonder the rest of the class are looking pretty unimpressed!

I can see my older sister, Debra Ellis, straight away! and her friends Claire, Jackie and Lynne.
