Remembrance day

This is a well attended event each year when following the church service, various local group, such as the scouts, the Police, the British Legion and many more march down Banstead High Street to the War memorial and lay wreaths to remember the 118 men listed on the Banstead War memorial.

The stories of many of these men have been researched by members of the Banstead History Research Group and can be found on the Group's website.
